Maldivians will receive Indonesia’s special visa on-arrival for tourism.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and President of UN General Assembly, Abdulla Shahid, said Maldivians will receive visa on arrival from Indonesia starting Thursday. The visa on arrival requirements include a passport validity of at least 6 months, a return flight ticket, proof of payment, and a COVID-19 vaccine certificate as per Indonesian authorities.
Indonesia’s decision to add Maldives to the visa on arrival list is followed by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s request for the latter during his meeting with the Indonesian Ambassador on June 17.
