VFS Global has opened a new center in Male’, providing Maldivians with a streamlined process to obtain Maltese visas. The inauguration, led by H.E. Mr. Ruben Gochi, Malta’s Ambassador to India, and Mr. Naveen Nara, Senior General Manager of VFS Global, marks a significant development for visa applicants in the Maldives.
The new facility, situated on the first floor of, H. Beach Tower, Boduthakurufaanu Magu, enables online appointments and a hassle-free application process. With its modern amenities and technology, the center aims to enhance the visa application experience for Maldivians, eliminating the need to travel to Delhi for obtaining Maltese visas.
H.E. Mr. Ruben Gochi emphasized that this initiative is a pivotal step for Malta, saving both time and costs associated with travel to India. The move is anticipated to contribute positively to Malta’s tourism sector.
VFS Global, in collaboration with the Maltese government since 2008, seeks to strengthen its ties with the opening of the new visa center, fostering easier and more efficient visa processing services.
