Canadian fast-food franchise Mary Brown is set to open its new outlet in Hulhumale’.
According to the local businessman and former tennis player Amir Mansoor, the new Mary Brown outlet in Hulhumale’ will open on January 15th. The outlet will have three floors including the ground floor with an open-air area. Amir also added that outlets of Secret Recipe and Pizza Mia are also set to open in Hulhumale’.
The new Mary Brown outlet is located at the ‘Water’s Edge’ building near Hulhumale’s Ferry Terminal in front of several luxury apartment complexes with a mesmerizing sea view.
The land plot for ‘Water’s Edge’ was leased by HDC for commercial purposes and will have 7 high class food outlets along with Mary Brown. Moreover, it will also have restaurants specializing in Indian, Indonesian, and Italian cuisines.
UK’s Coffee Republic (CR) is also set to have its first outlet in the Maldives. According to Amir, all the paperwork has been signed, and currently, the interior design works are being completed to bring the famous Coffee Republic to Hulhumale’. Amir expects the outlet to be opened in early April.
The project is estimated to cost around MVR 30 to 40 million.
