Maziya Sports and Recreation has secured a 4-0 win over Club Eagles to move nine points clear at the top of Dhivehi Premier League.
League leaders Maziya took the lead after 26 minutes into the game with a goal from Odawara Takashi, which was then followed by a goal from Ibrahim Mahudhee to extend the lead to 2-0 in the first half.
In the second half, Maziya added to their tally thanks to a goal from Hamza Mohamed who made it 3-0 for Maziya.
Cornelius Stewart scored from the spot to give Maziya a well-deserved 4-0 victory over Eagles.
Maziya extended their lead at the top of the table to 9 points with this victory while Eagles stay fourth with 17 points.
