Mila Kunis has discovered her next project both infront and behind the camera with Netflix’s The Luckiest Girl Alive.
The 37-year-old actor has gotten on to both star in and produce this film adaptation, as revealed by a Netflix public statement.
The film will be adapted from of Jessica Knoll’s 2015 novel, her work that turned into a New York Times smash hit.
Kunis will play Ani FaNelli, portrayed as a sharp tongued New Yorker who seems to have everything.
Her apparently wonderful life begins to unwind, however, when the director of a crime documentary asks her to reveal her side of the story that occurred while she was enrolled at the renowned Bradley School.
Ani is then compelled to confront a dark truth that threatens to unravel her life.
The novel was initially obtained by Lionsgate back in April 2015, not long before the book was published.
Bruna Papandrea and Jeanne Snow will produce through their Made Up Productions company, alongside Erik Feig and Lucy Kitada for Picturestart and Kunis through her Orchard Farm Productions Company.
