The youth reported missing from Hulhumale’ Phase II was last seen boarding a taxi at dawn on September 18, according to Maldives Police Service.
Mohamed Azuhan, 27, H. Bondikandholhuge, K. Male’, was reported missing to the police on Monday, September 19.
Police said in a statement Sunday that they continue to search for Azuhan.
Giving the latest update on the case, Police said the 27-year-old was last seen in the early hours of the 18th and that he was last seen near Hiya Tower 13 in Phase II. Police said that upon looking at the CCTV footage from the area, he was last seen getting into a white car and that it was around 04:53 in the morning.
Police has shared a picture of the car in question which is a white taxi although the image was very blurry. Furthermore, Police urged the public to contact the police if they had seen the white car in question near the Hiya flat area.
