MP Nashiz, who is also the Chairperson of Parliament Public Accounts Committee, was elected Chairperson of CAPAC during the Associations’ Annual Meeting which will continue on Wednesday as well.
MP Nashiz was also filling the role of CAPAC’s Vice Chairperson since last year.
CAPAC was founded in 2015 to promote good governance and ensure the Commonwealth Parliaments and the citizens served by the latter benefit from independent Public Accounts to promote and sustain highest principles of public finance.
