State Trading Organization (STO)’s subsidiary Maldives State Shipping (MSS) has announced fully funded scholarship opportunities in maritime studies.
The courses under the scholarship program include;
- Navigation Officer Cadet Training Course
- Engineer Officer Cadet Training Course
- Reefer Technician
The Navigation Officer Cadet Training Course will be 36 months long and requires a minimum of two A’ level passes with Physics being a must. The qualification awarded will be the Second Officer’s Certificate of Competency Diploma in Applied Science.
The Engineer Officer Cadet Training Course will be 36 months long and requires a minimum of two A’ level passes with Physics being a must. The qualification awarded will be BSc in Marine Engineering.
The Reefer Technician Course will be 12 months long and requires a minimum of three O’ level passes with Physics being a must.
Interested candidates can apply until 27th February, 14:00hrs after completing the application form.
