Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced a campaign to hire and train bus drivers and dredger staff.
“Join Team MTCC 2022” was launched during a special ceremony held on April 28. Speaking at the ceremony, CEO of MTCC Adam Azim said the campaign aims to provide training and job opportunities for a large number of people and aims to reduce gender disparity in the employment market, noting the company encourages women to apply for positions across all of its operations.
As part of the campaign, MTCC will train 65 staff for dredgers. As such, staff will be trained for the positions of dredge master, dredge operator, dredge mechanic, dredge crew, tug operator, tug crew, welder and dredge supervisor. MTCC will also train 22 bus drivers under this programme.
MTCC stated its Recruitment Open Day will be from May 3-22. The company urged enthusiastic individuals to attend the Open Day and seek the available opportunities.
