Adam Azim, CEO of the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), has updated President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on the status of the Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital development project.
On Friday afternoon, President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed embarked on a three-day tour to Kulhudhuffushi City, Kumundhoo Island, and Hanimaadhoo Island in Haa Dhaalu Atoll.
During the briefing, MTCC updated the president on the project’s overall progress, which is at 65%, and that it is projected to be completed by September 2021.
The project includes construction of a laboratory building, ward building, and renovation of the OPD area.
The development project of Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital is expected to cost MVR 30.3 million.
