Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has started direct bus service from Phase II, Hulhumale’ to Male’.
Previously, no direct route to Male’ from Phase II was available. Residents had to take a connecting bus from Phase II to Phase I and then take the bus from Phase I to Male’.
The buses traveling this route will make a trip once every hour between 6:00AM in the morning and 11:00PM in the evening. Moreover, MVR 15 has been set as the bus fare.
MTCC stated that the commencement of direct bus service between Hulhumale’ Phase II and Male’ City will ease the transportation difficulties currently faced by residents of Phase II.
