Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that the design and build of the Dh. Hulhudheli Harbor development project has proceeded by 45 percent.
The placement of precast concrete blocks required for the building of the quay wall is already underway, according to MTCC.
The project will include 49,612 cubic meters of dredging and excavation, the construction of a 432-meter quay wall, a 337-meter breakwater, and a 252-meter revetment, as well as the installation of 1,645 square meters of paved area and streetlights.
The Dh. Hulhudheli Harbor development project is estimated to cost MVR 39.8 million.
