Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that the planning and construction of the Dh. Hulhudheli Harbor development project has advanced by 82 percent.
According to MTCC, the first shipment of precast concrete blocks required for the construction of the quay wall was delivered to the project site on August 23.
The project will involve 49,612 cubic meters of dredging and excavation, as well as the construction of a 432-meter quay wall, a 337-meter breakwater, and a 252-meter revetment, and the installation of 1,645 square meters of paved area and lamps.
The Dh. Hulhudheli Harbor development project is estimated to cost MVR 39.8 million.
