Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that the B. Fehendhoo Harbor project is now 85 percent complete.
The company said rock boulders required for the revetment construction has been delivered to the project site, while pavement works of the new harbor basin is currently underway.
This project includes harbor basin dredging works of around 18,500 cubic meters and entrance channel dredging operations of 25,000 cubic meters. The scope of works also include the construction of a 214m quay wall, 130m breakwater, and a 282m revetment. Further, the installation of navigation lights, streetlights, and a 558 square meter paved area.
The project is estimated to be worth MVR 45 million.
