Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) reported that the shore protection project in Mulah, Meemu Atoll, was completed on December 23.
On October 11, 2019, the company signed the contract for the Mulah shore protection project. Meanwhile, physical work on the shore protection project began in April 2021.
The MVR 17.6 million shore protection project included construction of a geo bag revetment of around 412 meters.
Over the last three years, MTCC has completed 42 land reclamation and shore protection projects across the country.
