Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that the installation of precast concrete blocks required for the construction of the quay wall of Sh. Bilehfahi Harbor was completed on September 5.
According to MTCC, the placement of precast concrete blocks required for the quay wall construction of Sh. Bilehfahi Harbor began in July.
The project will include dredging and excavation operations totaling 24,125 cubic meters, the construction of a 376-meter breakwater, a 98-meter quay wall, the installation of a 1,150-square-meter paved area, and the installation of streetlights.
The development of Sh. Bilehfahi Harbor is expected to cost MVR 28.42 million.
