Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has finished the land reclamation operations for the R. Dhuvaafaru land reclamation and shore protection project.
According to MTCC, the first shipment of rock boulders needed to begin shore protection operations was delivered to the project site on August 28.
The project entails 22.2 hectares of dredging and reclamation works, as well as the construction of a 423-meter rock boulder revetment and a 315-meter breakwater.
