Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) and the Ministry of National Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure (MNPHI) have signed an agreement for the work and design of the Ha. Muraidhoo Harbor Upgrading Project.
MNPHI Director General Fathimath Shaana Farooq and MTCC CEO Adam Azim signed the agreement on Wednesday.
The project includes dredging and excavation, as well as the building of a 407-meter breakwater, a 50-meter groyne, a 105-meter revetment, a 212-meter quay wall, a ramp (9m x 9m), a 2m x 15m walkway bridge, 1,703.61 square meters of harbor pavement, and the installation of harbor lights.
The Ha. Muraidhoo Harbor Upgrading Project has an estimated value of MVR 33.72 million and is scheduled to complete within 365 days.
