The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) stated that the project site for the shore protection project in Kolhufushi, Meemu Atoll, was mobilized on January 2.
In late November, the Ministry of National Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure awarded the shore protection project in Kolhufushi to MTCC.
The project was awarded to MTCC for MVR 22.96 million with a 365-day completion period.
Dredging activities totaling 9683 cubic meters, the construction of a 202-meter breakwater, and the construction of a 519-meter revetment are all part of the project.
