Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has published the most recent updates on the harbor project in Hanimaadhoo, Haa Dhaalu Atoll.
The third shipment of precast concrete blocks necessary for the building of Hanimaadhoo Harbor’s quay wall was delivered to the project site on January 4, according to the company.
The project includes dredging of a new harbor basin of 53,522.50cbm, dredging of the harbor entry channel of 31,575.50cbm, building of a 355m breakwater, a 50m revetment, a 270m quay wall, and the installation of 2,583sqm of paved surface.
MTCC was awarded the Hanimaadhoo Harbor project for MVR 57.1 million.
