Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) revealed that the harbor development project in Hanimaadhoo, Haa Dhaal Atoll, is on schedule.
The first shipment of precast concrete blocks necessary for the quay wall construction of Hanimaadhoo Harbor was delivered to the project site on November 17th, according to the company.
Furthermore, MTCC stated that the present harbor quay wall repair work is still proceeding.
The project involves 53,522.50 cubic metres of new harbour basin dredging, 31,575.50 cubic metres of harbor entry channel dredging, the building of a 355-meter breakwater, a 50-meter revetment, a 270-meter quay wall, and the installation of 2,583 square metres of paved surface.
The Hanimaadhoo Harbor development project is worth MVR 57.1 million.
