Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has resumed its project works at Addu City, Meedhoo and Hulhudhoo in a statement released today.
The project works at both Meedhoo and Hulhudhoo were put on hold after some of the workers tested positive for COVID-19.
MTCC further stated that work on the Meedhoo harbor project has resumed today. The project is worth an estimated MVR 35.4 million.
Moreover, the shore protection project of Meedhoo will also resume this month.
As for the projects at Hulhudhoo, harbor construction project will resume in April and road construction project will be completed within the same month.
Furthermore, MTCC stated that MIFCO’s harbor development project at Hulhudhoo will commence this month.
