Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced the start of the harbor development project in Mandhoo, Alif Dhaal Atoll.
The physical work on the Mandhoo Harbor Development Project began on December 15, according to the company.
The project includes 65,854 cubic meters of dredging and excavation, as well as the construction of a 236-meter quay wall, a 319-meter breakwater, a 71-meter revetment, and 50-meter groynes.
In addition, the project will include the installation of harbor streetlights, navigational aids, and the construction of 1180 square meters of paved area.
The Mandhoo Harbor Development Project is worth MVR 34.1 million.
