Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) began installing geobag revetments for the Meemu Mulah Shore Protection project on September 28.
According to MTCC, the design and construction of shore protection structures at Mulah is underway, with a 60 percent project completion rate.
The Mulah Shore Protection project entails the building of a 412-meter geo bag revetment.
In addition, the shore protection project is expected to cost MVR 17.6 million.
