Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that the construction of the harbor upgrade project in Muraidhoo, Haa Alif, has begun.
According to the company, the project site for the Muraidhoo Harbor Upgrading Project was deployed on January 1.
The project involves the building of a 212-meter L-Section quay wall, a 105-meter revetment, 50-meter groynes, and a 514-meter breakwater.
The Muraidhoo Harbor Upgrading Project has an estimated value of MVR 33.72 million.
The Ministry of National Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure (MNPHI) awarded the project to MTCC on August 25 with a 365-day completion schedule.
