Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has signed an agreement with the Ministry of National Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure to design and build shore protection structures at Kunburudhoo, Alifu Dhaalu Atoll.
COO Shahid Hussain Moosa signed on behalf of MTCC, while Permanent Secretary Zeeniya Hameed signed on behalf of the MNPHI at the event.
The project involves dredging and excavation activities, the building of a 170-meter revetment, a 57-meter quay wall, the construction of a 9m x 9m ramp, the installation of 250 square meters of harbor pavement, and the installation of harbor lights.
The Mulah shore protection project is worth MVR 9.61 million and is expected to be finished in 150 days.
