Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been given a contract to build the Maldives National University’s (MNU) Maritime Survival Center.
The agreement was signed at a ceremony on Wednesday by MTCC’s Managing Director Adam Azim and MNU’s Vice Chancellor Dr Mohamed Shareef.
The project includes filling 1,200 cubic meters of sheet-piled land, piling sheets on a 35-meter quay wall, laying concrete boulders, constructing a 4.2-meter-long and 6.4-meter-wide slope, and erecting a mooring bollard. In addition, as part of the project, an environmental impact assessment will be conducted.
The project was awarded to MTCC for MVR 4.59 million with a 210-day completion deadline.
