Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has signed an agreement with the Ministry of National Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure to design and build a harbor at Kumundhoo, Haa Dhaalu Atoll.
COO Shahid Hussain Moosa signed on behalf of MTCC, while Permanent Secretary Zeeniya Hameed signed on behalf of the MNPHI at the event.
The project entails 14,301 cubic meters of dredging and excavation, the building of a 198-meter revetment, a 242-meter breakwater, and the installation of navigational aids.
The Mulah shore protection project is worth MVR 35.68 million and is expected to be finished in 210 days.
