Ooredoo Maldives has upgraded its Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered Digital Care Assistant, Evee, enabling customers to interact with the digital assistant in Dhivehi.
Minister of Environment, Climate Change and Technology Aminath Shauna and Minister of Arts, Culture and Heritage Yumna Maumoon were present during the relaunching ceremony. Customers who wish to access the service through Evee can dial the 929 hotlines, select Dhivehi as the preferred language, and choose option one to check data, SMS, Voice, and bill balances. Ooredoo said Evee is part of the efforts to provide comprehensive services to customers and access to services easier for customers of all ages.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Shauna said that the Maldives cannot move forward without technology. She said that no citizen should be deprived of any services and that there should not be a single individual left out of society even with the development of technology.
In addition to the launch of Evee in Dhivehi, Ooredoo Maldives also officially launched its brand-new Dhivehi font, as the company celebrates the launch of its new visual identity for the Ooredoo brand. The recent strategic changes to its brand identity under its global campaign Upgrade Your World resonates with Ooredoo’s personality and the company’s journey in line with modern technology and the growth it has been bringing to the business.
