Ooredoo has decided to add unused data from one month to next for its postpaid customers.
In a press conference today, Acting Chief Commercial Officer Hussain Niyaz said this change was introduced with the start of this month and that this change was introduced to customers with a postpaid package above MVR 600 since their surveys showed packages below MVR 600 usually do not have any remaining data at the end of the month.
This service will be available to packages above MVR 600 under ‘Varah Thafaathu Postpaid’ and ‘Eku Postpaid’.
The company also introduced ‘Aachaa’ to its postpaid customers which was previously available to prepaid customers.
Under this package, customers will receive 2GB data daily, from which 1GB is dedicated for social media, for MVR 600, 4GB daily for MVR 800, and 6GB for MVR 1000.
Ooredoo introduced several new offers for Ramadan, including a 40% discount on SuperNet routers, which is set to continue until the end of Ramadan.
