The Maldives has fully vaccinated over 90% of students between the ages of 12 and 17, according to the education ministry.
On October 15, the education ministry began administering Pfizer vaccines to pupils aged 12 to 17. Around 40,000 students are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination, according to the education ministry.
During a PSM programme commemorating the current administration’s third year, the education minister revealed that 97.3 percent of pupils over the age of 12 had received the first dosage, and 90.1 percent had gotten the second dose.
According to the education minister, the biggest triumph has been continuing to conduct studies for students even throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
