Parliament today voted to pass the no-confidence motion against Communication, Science, and Technology Minister, Mr. Mohamed Maleeh.
The no-confidence motion was submitted by the Parliament’s Super Majority Party MDP with the sign of 14 Parliament Members. MDP issued a three-line whip for the removal of Maleeh.
Debates on the no-confidence motion went with an overwhelming number of parliamentarians stating that they would vote for the removal of Maleeh despite his defiance.
The no-confidence motion was passed by a vote of 59 members out of 60.
