Physical works to implement a water supply system at GDh. Vaadhoo has commenced.
In a special ceremony held yesterday, the project was inaugurated by Fenaka Corporation’s Managing Director Ahmed Saeed Mohamed along with members from Vaadhoo council and several islanders.
Speaking at the ceremony, Fenaka’s MD Ahmed Saeed stated that upon completion of the water supply system at GDh. Vaadhoo, dispensers will be placed at each household and 18 liter bottled water will be packaged and supplied at the island itself.
As part of the agreement between Fenaka and Male’ Water And Sewerage Company (MWSC), all project works including laying pipe network to the households, cleaning, and pressure testing will be done within 4 months.
