Maldives Police Service has appointed heads to the National College of Policing and Law Enforcement (NCPLE) and the Male’ City Police.
Police announced Chief Superintendent of Police Ahmed Shifan has been appointed as the Head of NCPLE in Addu City. Shifan had previously been serving as the Head of Male’ City Police. He was replaced as the Head of Male’ City Police by Superintendent of Police Hussain Sameer, who had previously been serving as the Head of Specialist Tactical Response.
Furthermore, Police also announced the appointment of Chief Inspector of Police Mohamed Sabah as the Head of the Centre for Applied Policing. He had previously been serving as the Head of High Visibility Policing Unit.
