Maldives Police Service today announced plans to conduct an audit of police housing project in Hulhumale’ to determine the exact valuation of the flats.
Police said the reason for this valuation was to ascertain the services and goods purchased for the housing project as they look to find new contractors for the flats after retaking the project from the previous contractors.
Furthermore, a pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for March 21 at Iskandharu Koshi to provide information about the audit.
The project was first awarded to Noomadi Resorts and Residences in 2012 by the Police Cooperative Society (POLCO) which was then sub-contracted to Island Expert by Noomadi.
However, Island Expert later fully took over the entire project and then the project saw delays due to multiple issues.
