Maldives Police Service has seized approximately 42 kilograms of heroin under the flooring of an abandoned house in Malé City.
According to Commissioner of Police Mohamed Hameed, Drug Enforcement & Counter Narcotics Intelligence have been conducting a search operation in Male’. They have found and seized approximately 42 KGs of heroin hidden under a false flooring in a house in Maafannu.
Moreover, one person has been arrested in connection to the case. Police stated that the case is currently under further investigation.
