Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has reported the arrival of the fourth shipment of precast concrete blocks required for the construction of the quay wall at the S. Hulhudhoo Harbor project site on September 21.
According to MTCC, the installation of precast concrete blocks for the quay wall is currently underway, with a 56 percent completion rate.
The project will include 88,623 cubic meters of dredging and excavation, the construction of a 114-meter breakwater, a 624-meter revetment, a 742-meter quay wall, 2,250 square meters of paved area, and the installation of streetlights.
The S. Hulhudhoo Harbor development project is estimated to cost MVR 66.3 million.
