President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih urged the public to dedicate more time to religious practices during Ramadan in his address to the nation on Wednesday.
He emphasized the importance of performing daily and Tarawih prayers, reciting from the Holy Quran, and making dua. The President highlighted the holy month as a time to promote compassion, generosity, empathy, and rid oneself of immoral deeds.
He also emphasized the importance of rekindling familial and neighborly bonds while striving towards the righteous path. President Solih concluded by praying for blessings and spiritual rewards for the Islamic Ummah during Ramadan.
