Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that the second shipment of rock boulders for the breakwater construction arrived at the Adh. Hangnaameedhoo Harbor project site on September 4.
According to MTCC, the project’s new harbor basin and channel dredging operations have been completed.
The project works include dredging and excavation operations totaling 6,363.1 cubic meters, the construction of a 204-meter breakwater, a 266-meter quay wall, a 160-meter revetment, the installation of 1,330 square meters of paved area, and the installation of streetlights.
The Adh. Hangnaameedhoo Harbor project is expected to cost MVR 32.2 million.
