The fourth shipment of rock boulders needed for revetment construction in Dhiggaru, Meemu Atoll, was delivered to the project site on October 23 by Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).
MTCC commenced land reclamation and shore protection operations at Dhiggaru on August 28, and the project site was mobilized on March 20.
The project entails 25-hectare reclamation activities, as well as the construction of a 384-meter-long rock boulder revetment and a 287-meter-long breakwater.
The Dhiggaru land reclamation and shore protection project is worth MVR 121.84 million.
