Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) reported that a shipment of rock boulders for breakwater construction arrived at the Sh. Bilehfahi Harbor project site on September 28.
On September 5, MTCC announced that the installation of precast concrete blocks required for the construction of Sh. Bilehfahi Harbor’s quay wall was completed.
The project will include 24,125 cubic meters of dredging and excavation, as well as the construction of a 376-meter breakwater, a 98-meter quay wall, 1,150 square meters of paved space, and lamp installation.
The Sh. Bilehfahi Harbor project has an estimated value of MVR 28.42 million.
