Island Aviation Service (IAS) has announced the round-trip fare to Madivaru Regional Airport which is estimated to cost around MVR 2,058.
Speaking to local news outlet Avas, the IAS’ Deputy Managing Director Aishath Jennifer said a one-way ticket to Madivaru would cost around MVR 1,029, while the fare for a round-trip is MVR 2,058.
Madivaru Airport is managed and operated by IAS, though the airport was developed by Kureddhu Holdings, a Crown and Champa Company subsidiary. The airport was completed, and the first test flight was operated on December 25, 2021.
