The Ministry of Education has announced that schools in the Greater Male’ area will be closed for another week, with online classes continuing until next Thursday.
The Education Ministry announced that online classes for students in preschool through grade 12 will be held until next Thursday to control the country’s rising COVID-19 cases. Exams, on the other hand, will proceed as scheduled, according to the Ministry.
The President’s Office has today requested that government offices remain closed for another week, with employees scheduled to work from home.
This comes after the HPA announced tighter restrictions in the region, including an extension of the curfew in Malé City from 16:00 to 04:00 a.m. beginning yesterday.
