Minister of State at the Ministry of Education Ahmed Riyaz has been suspended over allegations of sexual harassment.
The President’s Office revealed it has ordered the education ministry to suspend Riyaz over a case under investigation. The President’s Office did not reveal any further details officially though it is heavily rumored he was suspended over an ongoing case of sexual harassment.
Riyaz is mainly in charge of the structural work of the education sector.
