Gordon Andrew Stewart has been dismissed as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Maldives Airports Company Limited after only one year in the role.
He was fired on the recommendation of the Privatization and Corporatization Board, according to a statement made by MACL.
The British national was recognised by the company, which runs the country’s main airport, for his contributions as its Chief Executive Officer.
Stewart, who was named as CEO of MACL in June 2020, has over 30 years of experience in the aviation and transportation industries in the Middle East, Asia, North Africa, and Europe.
Mr. Stewart was ‘NOT’ fired and this statement is ‘SHAMELESS’, Mr. Stewart asked questions about ‘FAST CORRUPTION’ in which I Personally have taken the persons to ‘COURT in MALDIVES and WON’, My Case is NOW with the UNHCR, whereby MACL contractors where allegedly ‘RACKETEERING’, and I can demonstrate. In short will be mainstream media in the coming period, MACL are aware of ‘BOGUS’ construction projects, used for the purpose of alleged ‘RACKETEERING and MONEY LAUNDERING’.
