State Trading Organization (STO) and Spanish medical brand Matachana are set to transform Hulhumale’ Hospital with a state-of-the-art Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD). The agreement was sealed by STO’s CEO, Abdulla Saeed, and Hulhumale’ Hospital’s CEO, Mariya Saeed, marking a significant step in elevating patient safety and surgical infection control.
The project encompasses diverse responsibilities for STO, encompassing interior design, equipment procurement and installation, and comprehensive staff training. With the support of Matachana’s expertise, this collaboration underscores a commitment to top-tier medical sterilization services.
STO’s track record in supplying Matachana equipment to various local hospitals, including the renowned Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), exemplifies their dedication to enhancing healthcare infrastructure. The CSSD, a linchpin in infection control, ensures the sterility of medical equipment, playing a critical role in safeguarding patients during surgical procedures.
