Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been granted the Land Reclamation for Industrial Zone and Shore Protection Project in Thinadhoo, Gaafu Dhaalu, by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure.
MTCC CEO Adam Azim and MNPHI Director General Ahmed Tholhath signed the agreement today at a ceremony attended by North Thinadhoo Constituency MP Abdul Mughnee.
Furthermore, the project activities comprise 10 hectares of reclamation, the building of an 1804-meter revetment, a 284-meter quay wall, and a bridge.
The project is worth MVR 125.22 million and is projected to be finished in 660 days.
