Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) has announced that a new aircraft has been added to its fleet.
TMA has recently included a DHC-6 Twin Otter to its fleet, increasing the number of aircraft to 62. The company cited the growing number of tourists visiting the Maldives as the reason for the acquisition and anticipates adding more aircraft in the future to keep up with demand. TMA is currently the largest seaplane operator globally and provides flights to over 80 resorts in the Maldives since its establishment in 1993.
