Ministry of Tourism is seeking information on individuals who have served in the tourism industry in the Maldives for over 30 years.
The tourism ministry stated that it is working to obtain information on individuals who are working or have worked in the tourism industry for a number of years and those who have made significant contributions to the development of the industry.
The ministry urged the public to submit information by September 4 on individuals who have worked in the tourism industry for over 30 years. The ministry is conducting the work as part of the initiative to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the tourism industry in the Maldives throughout 2022.
As part of the celebrations, the ministry also opened nominations for the Maldives Tourism Awards 2022. The purpose of the awards is to acknowledge and celebrate the accomplishments made by individuals and companies working in the tourism industry of the Maldives.
