Tree Top Hospital conducted a ceremony on Wednesday to award nursing scholarships to the seven students who were chosen.
The Rector of VIlla College, Dr Ahmed Anwar, presented the scholarship documents to the beneficiaries during a ceremony held at Tree Top Hospital.
Speaking at the occasion, Dr. Anwar emphasised Tree Top Hospital’s commitment to train nurses, noting that the scholarships awarded today will allow students to pursue the greatest degree of education in the field.
During the event, scholarships for two programmes were awarded: Bachelor of Science (Hons) Nursing from the University of West England via Villa College and a Diploma in Nursing Program from Villa College.
Ihusana Abdul Aleem and Noorul Hudha Ashraf are the recipients of the Bachelor programme scholarships. Hawwa Sana Rashaad, Fathimath Zaina Zaahir, Khadeeja Aayath, Shamma Mufeed Mohamed, and Zindha Abdulla Didi received scholarships for the diploma programme.
